Relax & Realign Stage 2 – Noticing Your Flow

Introduction

Relax & Realign is a six-stage self-development and relaxation programme designed to help you reconnect with yourself, develop greater balance and build the foundations for lasting positive change.

If you feel that you have been moving  through life feeling overwhelmed, pulled in too many directions or somehow disconnected from yourself, Relax & Realign offers an opportunity to slow down, become more aware of your experience and gradually develop a stronger sense of steadiness, clarity and self-understanding.

The programme has been designed as a journey, with each stage preparing for the one that follows. Each stage has 6 or 7 units, which you can work through at your own pace. The activities are under 20 minutes long, so that you can fit them into your day, and you can repeat them as often as you like. As you move through the stages, you may become better able to recognise what you need, respond rather than react and navigate life with greater balance.

Each stage uses a mixture of guided relaxation, simple breathing and movement exercises, Vittoz practices and opportunities for reflection. The programme is designed as an invitation to explore your own experience and discover what feels helpful and meaningful for you. The greatest value comes from allowing the journey to unfold step by step.

About Stage 2 – Noticing Your Flow

Having spent time in Stage 1 becoming receptive to the present moment, Stage 2 builds on this by turning your attention outward — to how you interact with the world around you and how your energy flows in response.

Noticing Your Flow explores the difference between receiving stimulus passively and channelling your energy and attention with intention. Through active breathwork, sensory awareness and guided visualisation, you’ll begin to notice the patterns — helpful or unhelpful — in how you respond to the world, and start to develop a more conscious, intentional way of directing your energy.

Breath and Movement Part 2 – Warm Up, Fish, Forward Bends, Link Sequence
Guided Relaxation – Colours

This stage helps you move from passive awareness into intentional engagement with the world around you, setting you up for the focus and centring work in Stage 3. Stage 2 works best once you’ve completed Stage 1, but can also be taken as a standalone exploration if you’re already comfortable with breath and body awareness. By the end of this stage, you may feel more aware of how you direct your energy and attention outward, and better able to respond with intention rather than react on autopilot.
