Relax & Realign Stage 3 – Building Your Power Base

Introduction

Relax & Realign is a six-stage self-development and relaxation programme designed to help you reconnect with yourself, develop greater balance and build the foundations for lasting positive change.

If you feel that you have been moving  through life feeling overwhelmed, pulled in too many directions or somehow disconnected from yourself, Relax & Realign offers an opportunity to slow down, become more aware of your experience and gradually develop a stronger sense of steadiness, clarity and self-understanding.

The programme has been designed as a journey, with each stage preparing for the one that follows. Each stage has 6 or 7 units, which you can work through at your own pace. The activities are under 20 minutes long, so that you can fit them into your day, and you can repeat them as often as you like. As you move through the stages, you may become better able to recognise what you need, respond rather than react and navigate life with greater balance.

Each stage uses a mixture of guided relaxation, simple breathing and movement exercises, Vittoz practices and opportunities for reflection. The programme is designed as an invitation to explore your own experience and discover what feels helpful and meaningful for you. The greatest value comes from allowing the journey to unfold step by step.

About Stage 3 – Building Your Power Base

With awareness established in Stage 1 and energy flow explored in Stage 2, Stage 3 turns to something more grounding: building a strong, stable centre from which to make choices and decisions in your life.

Building Your Power Base is about drawing together your mental, physical and emotional energies and learning to hold a steady centre — even amid uncertainty. Through focused breathwork, guided relaxation, Vittoz concentration exercises and solar plexus energy work, you’ll explore what it feels like to act from a place of internal stability rather than react from a place of overwhelm or self-doubt.

This stage pairs particularly well with the companion resources Change Your Mind About Yourself and Rediscover What Makes You You, which invite you to identify your strengths and values and map out life choices from this position of stability. Stage 3 works best once you’ve completed Stages 1 and 2, as it builds directly on the awareness and energy-flow foundations they establish. By the end of this stage, you may feel steadier and more centred when making decisions, with a stronger sense of your own internal stability to draw on, even when things feel uncertain.
