Introduction
Relax & Realign is a six-stage self-development and relaxation programme designed to help you reconnect with yourself, develop greater balance and build the foundations for lasting positive change.
If you feel that you have been moving through life feeling overwhelmed, pulled in too many directions or somehow disconnected from yourself, Relax & Realign offers an opportunity to slow down, become more aware of your experience and gradually develop a stronger sense of steadiness, clarity and self-understanding.
The programme has been designed as a journey, with each stage preparing for the one that follows. Each stage has 6 or 7 units, which you can work through at your own pace. The activities are under 20 minutes long, so that you can fit them into your day, and you can repeat them as often as you like. As you move through the stages, you may become better able to recognise what you need, respond rather than react and navigate life with greater balance.
Each stage uses a mixture of guided relaxation, simple breathing and movement exercises, Vittoz practices and opportunities for reflection. The programme is designed as an invitation to explore your own experience and discover what feels helpful and meaningful for you. The greatest value comes from allowing the journey to unfold step by step.
About Stage 4 – Making Space
Having built a stronger sense of centre in Stage 3, Stage 4 turns to the practice of letting go — releasing what no longer serves you and making room for new ways of being.
Making Space invites you to gently connect with painful or unhelpful patterns, beliefs or memories you’re ready to release, and to sit with the discomfort of “the void” — the unsettled space between letting go of the old and welcoming in the new. Through releasing and purifying breathwork, Vittoz release exercises, symbolic and visualisation practices, and guided relaxation, you’ll explore what it feels like to make space for change, with the support of grounding and safety along the way.
The Stage 4 units are:
Breath and Movement Part 1 – Releasing and Purifying Breath
Guided Relaxation – Stones and Pebbles
Vittoz – Release and Change
Energy Work, Hibernating, Disappearing Letters & Numbers
Breath and Movement Part 2 – Forward Bend Twist, Forward Flop, Sequence
Visualisation – Feeling Safe in the Space You’ve Made
This stage pairs particularly well with the companion resources Change Your Mind About Yourself and Rediscover What Makes You You. Some of the release exercises in this stage can bring up difficult feelings or memories — please work gently, within your own comfort zone, and seek professional support if needed. By the end of this stage, you may feel lighter and more able to let go of what no longer serves you, with a little more comfort sitting in the uncertainty of change.
